Our Statement of Faith

1. Alpha Omega [AO], believe God is the creator of all things. He is eternal, powerful, all knowing (Omnipotent), and everywhere at one time (Omnipresent), and all-seeing (Omniscient).

2. Alpha Omega [AO], believe God reveals Himself as three distinct persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity) being united in nature and substance as the one true, Almighty God.

3. Alpha Omega [AO], believe Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died for the sins of all humanity. He was crucified on a cross, died, buried, descended into hades and won victory over death. He rose on the third day and ascended into heaven. He is seated at the Fathers right hand and shall return at the appointed time to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

4. Alpha Omega [AO], believe and recognize the deity of Jesus Christ being both fully Man and fully God who is deserving of great honor, glory, reverence and worship of which every knee shall bow.

5. Alpha Omega [AO], believe the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Teacher promised by Jesus Christ, who lives inside of us, guiding in all truth. We further believe His power and gifts are available to all believers today.

6. Alpha Omega [AO], believe the Bible is inspired BY God, and it is the infallible and authoritative Word of God. It contains His plan of salvation for mankind and is the foundation of wisdom. It is the final authority and guide over faith, life, truth, and hope.

7. Alpha Omega [AO], believe salvation IS the deliverance from the bondage of sins both past, present, AND future. Our salvation is NOT attained by works (neither our own, nor works of others on our behalf), but by faith alone in the voluntary sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary for our atonement to God with the assurance of eternal life.

8. Alpha Omega [AO], believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; The saved to the resurrection of eternal life with Christ in heaven, and the lost to separation from Christ and eternal damnation in hell.

9. Alpha Omega [AO], believe that by grace we are saved through faith; and not of any act we have done ourselves. It IS the gift from God and NOT a result of works, lest any man boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

10. Alpha Omega [AO], believe Christians are people acting in faith who accept only Jesus Christ as their Savior and in whom the Holy Spirit lives inside creating the new birth. This new birth is a new life, which follows the footsteps of Jesus Christ and shows the Christian fruits of the Holy Spirit as evidence, which produces a change of heart and the start of a new life in Christ.

11. Alpha Omega [AO], believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward change and testimony of our life surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ by faith; being symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We ourselves symbolize through immersion the putting to death and burial our old nature, and being raised up to a new life in Christ.

12. Alpha Omega [AO], believe all Christians have various callings from God, and are given spiritual gifts to fulfill and accomplish His will.

How to join [AO]

Alpha Omega does not actively recruit members. How then, do we select our members?

Alpha Omega is a place for fun, faith and fellowship. We began as a Christian gaming clan, but have matured more into a Christian Ministry and meeting place. As Christians, we openly profess our love for, and belief in, Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We consider ourselves an evangelical ministry for the Gospel, not unlike any brick and mortar ministry.

We also believe that it is impossible for an unbeliever to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). How could a non-Christian possibly proclaim the good news of the gospel? Therefore, to be a member of Alpha Omega, you must be a Christian. We make no apology for that stance, nor waiver from it.

We are a ministry. Non believers have no standing to minister. It's a fairly straightforward, albeit exclusive position to take. However, Jesus' words to the world were also exclusive when He proclaimed, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:6)

Being a organization made up like minded people does not make us unique. One thing that is unique about us however, is our recruitment process.

Almost all of our membership is very active within our forums, on our game server and on our Teamspeak server. We are not looking to recruit just anybody. Therefore, our process to gain membership is less about the details you’d use to fill out a credit card application, and more about what kind of person you are.

It is through our forums that we share our experiences, our humor, our questions, our prayers, and our ideas. As a registered member to the site, you will have access to certain sections of the forum. Become involved in the discussions and topics. Don’t see a topic you want to comment on? Start one!

Be active on our game servers and TeamSpeak
Alpha Omega [AO] currently sponsors a Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare game server.

We have, from time to time, had different game servers. In the past we had servers for America's Army, as well as Battlefield 2. This was dependent on what the [AO] Leadership saw as the popular need.

You are welcome to join us online and compete with or against us. On our servers you can expect to find [AO] members playing, chatting, having fun, and even witnessing about Jesus when the opportunity presents itself. Feel free to ask questions if you have them…or post them in the forum, but mainly use the opportunity to get to know the members that are online with you at the same time…and let them get to know you!

We have also opened up our voice program; TeamSpeak, to the general public! You are welcome to join us at 75.126.154.191:8773 and communicate as you play on the server with us, or just hang out and share in conversation.

Alpha Omega also holds a bible study on TeamSpeak every other Saturday at 9PM Eastern; this is held in the TeamSpeak room titled ‘Bible Study’. Members of the general public are always invited and encouraged to participate.

When you do log on to our TS server, we ask that you join using your real name as well as your game name/nickname (Ex: [AO]CHAP.Apostle – John). We take a personal approach and truly want to get to know you, not just your online persona, per se.

The bottom line
It is through this process of getting to know you, and you getting to know us, that we hope to keep our membership active and energetic…first, for the Lord, and secondly, for the organization. If after a little while, we see in you, the potential we are looking for, you will be invited by one of the officers to join us on our TeamSpeak server for a short interview/meet and greet. We are not looking for you tell us what you think we want to hear, we are looking for you to be yourself.

Even if membership is never offered – for whatever reason…know that, as long as you abide by our rules, you are always welcome on our site, and our game servers!
